In this session, we shall discuss Dr.Mark's recent findings on Community Response to and Potential Impacts of Eutrophication. Through his research, we shall understand how predicted population growth and increased nutrient inputs in water bodies could lead to pollution, creating a food (plankton) shortage for the fish that could result in their population reduction or extinction in Lake Victoria and the Nile Basin.
